We offer: 44 Hours Work Week 5.5 Work Days Overtime Pay applicable for work above 44 hours AWS Meals Provided Leaves and Allowances RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor food standards of the outlet and to take corrective actions where appropriate Ensure product's consistency in freshness, presentation, and taste Shift handling Train and monitor staff's progress Assist in food preparation Ensure quality of food items and miss-en-place to be prepared daily and minimize food wastage Assist Kitchen Manager and Assistant Kitchen Manager in all food preparation and cooking Maintain and keep the kitchen area clean Assist the Kitchen Manager in all other operations as required. Responsible for culinary duties including productions, preparation, cleaning, setup, closure, any ad-hoc instructions by a superior.
REQUIREMENTS: Good Culinary skills with a sound working knowledge in all work stations of the kitchen Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar capacity Experience and knowledge in preparing Japanese cuisine is an advantage Good communicator with leadership qualities Passion for food and culinary arts Ability to lead from the front and execute tasks accurately
