Working location: Food For Tots, Jacob Ballas Children Garden (NON-Halal) Assist the Head Chef, Jr Sous Chef and the rest of the kitchen team with daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cooking and all kitchen activities. Ensure that health and safety standards with all food, beverage and equipment are upheld in the kitchen. Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance Clean up during and at the end of a shift Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by FFT’s requirements. Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost. Any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef, Jr Sous Chef and the Company Directors. Flexible and adaptable, Able to work effectively in a team environment. Willing to constantly learn new things and to develop yourself.
Experience in preparing and cooking western cuisine is preferred ~ Follow food and beverage safety and hygiene policies and procedures. ~ Maintain food and beverage production environment. ~ Maintain safe and secure working environment. ~ Receive and store food products. ~ Work in a diverse service environment.
