Duties and Responsibilities · Greet guests and presents them with menu. Inform guests on special items for the day and menu changes if any. · Understands and communicates products and services available as well as promotional items. · Take food orders and input into Point of Sales (POS) system. · Communicate and provide assistance to guests where needed. · Always serve in friendly, timely and efficient manner. · Co-ordinates with Cashier, kitchen staff and team to ensure smooth operation and guests’ satisfaction. · Observes guests and promptly respond to requests to ensure service satisfaction. · Maintains proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses. · Prepares simple beverage for service to guest table. · Adheres to grooming and appearance standards consistently. · Observes strict hygiene and cleanliness at all times. · Assists with stocking and maintaining restaurant stock levels. · Opens and closes shift. · Helps in other areas of restaurant such as answering telephones and other tasks. · Performs cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. · Filling in for absent staff where needed, working harmoniously as a team. · Attend meetings when needed. · Any other duties assigned or rotated
· Relevant experience in service and hospitality · Able to commit to work shifts assigned as waiter · Able to start within short notice · Able to work in a fast-paced environment · Able to liaise with English and Mandarin speaking customers
