Roles and Responsibilities - Build and develop a strong and trusted relationship with the HOCs/HODs, Managers and Staff of client groups to establish credibility and accountability. Work with HOCs/HODs on EOMs and manpower requirements (current and future) that are unique to the nursing homes. - Provide HR support and guidance to influence all talent decisions, adding value to the centre-specific people issues and operations. - Handle and prepare for new employee on-boarding and induction to ensure progressive assimilation to MWS, the nursing home and the job. - Give timely support and concern to staff, particularly during times of needs and distress, caring for their physical and mental well-being. - Prepare and handle employee off-boarding to ensure smooth and gracious exit experience, be it voluntary or involuntary exit. - Compile and analyse data collected from employee surveys and exit interviews for the nursing home. - Identify specific areas of issues and/or concerns pertaining to the nursing home - Plan and organize centre-specific events, activities and programs, including Staff Retreat, Annual Workplan, Care Packs, Nurses’ Day, Christmas Party, CNY, Special Food-bonding Day and other festive celebrations etc.. - Complete the process of renewal and cancellation of work passes on time and in accordance to MOM law, including periodic medical check-ups. - Liaise with Recruitment Agencies on staff repatriation i.e. purchase of flight ticket, escort arrangement and date of workpass cancellation. - Administer the annual sourcing and renewal of rental of HDBs/Hostel, ensuring all Tenancy Agreements are signed and completed in good order. - Ensure all administrative tasks (including liaising with TA, TR and TD) are delivered accurately, timely and with quality standard. - Ensure that statutory training requirements (e.g. BCLS) are met, especially for all clinical staff (Nurses, Allied Health staff) - Ensure organization charts and Job Descriptions of client groups are updated at all times. - Collate Performance Appraisal Forms of client groups for annual review exercise - Any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned by supervisor and manager
Qualifications - Degree in Business Admin / HR or equivalent - 1 to 3 years of relevant HR experience - Work experience in Community Healthcare sector will be an advantage - Familiar with Singapore Employment Act - Good communication (written and oral) and presentation skills - Good problem-solving and analytical skills - Able to maintain highest degree of confidentiality and professional integrity - Able to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team - Takes initiative, proactive and positive - IT savvy; able to work on the cloud and familiar with MS Office suite - 5 day work week
