Responsibilities and Duties Specific Material Handling and Store Management •Receive incoming goods/ materials from suppliers (E.g., of the goods/ materials are consumables, medical supplies, linen, uniform, etc.) •Arrange and stock goods/ materials in stores. •Pick and pack materials based on ward’s order. •Issue materials to wards and top-up the materials in the ward stores. •Data entry on systems and keep good records of all goods/ materials movement. •Perform stock take and cycle count regularly. •Responsible for stock inventory in stores. •Maintain good housekeeping in the stores. •Initiate ordering from suppliers to ensure that there is sufficient stock to supply to the wards. •Ensure that the goods/ materials are in good usable condition. Medical Records Handling and Storage Management •Track and organize medical record folders in the Medical Record Office (MRO). •Check-in, label, and store folders. •Retrieve and check-out folders. •Achieve inactive folders at external storage facility. •Cull inactive folders exceeding the required storage period. •Data entry on systems and keep good records of all folders movement. •Responsible for handling of all transactions with external storage vendor. •Ensure high degree of confidentiality and accuracy is maintained in medical records management.
