JOB SUMMARY: The Operations Assistant Manager is in charge of running a successful hair beauty salon. His/her duties include hiring and training employees while managing the day-to-day business activities. He/She communicates with customers and work colleagues excellently, enjoys talking to people. He/She is responsible to direct the teams of salon employees to deliver exceptional customer services.

- Manages day-to-day outlet operations to ensure salon run smoothly
- Assist Manager in providing leadership and direction to all employees
- Undertakes activities such as opening and closing procedures, supervising and mentoring staff, as well customer intake procedures
- Schedules staff to provide adequate coverage for the salon’s needs
- Resolves customer complaints and provides solutions to staff disputes
- Accounts / Supervises the management of sales, inventory and customer reports
- Maintains a professional and a cheerful attitude
- Working closely with the Outlet Manager to lead staff and Supporting Outlet manager as needed.
- Completing tasks assigned by the higher management accurately and efficiently
Undertakes any other assigned ad-hoc duties as the business requires

Job Requirements

- Experience as an assistant store/outlet manager or with beauty-related management.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Must be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development.
- Versatile and independent in picking up concepts, and possesses strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills
- Able to grasp business requirements and processes
- Computer proficient and with working knowledge of service software and systems
- Meticulous, good organizational and operations skills
- Good communication skills
- Enjoys interacting with customers
- Strong business acumen with strategic mindset and finance-related skills
