Job Description

You will be part of Finance Team and perform a broad range of tasks/projects ranging from managing procurement operations and provide support in implementing related policies / activities. You will also be required to liaise with statutory boards and Central agencies.
Your duties would include (but not limited to):
• Manage procurement of goods and services
• Ensure procurement is in compliance with Government Instruction Manuals and internal guidelines
• Conduct training/guidance relating to procurement in support of the faster payment initiative   
• Review to streamline current process and explore possibility of outsourcing 
• Able to collaborate and work with internal and external stakeholders

Working Hours (1-hour lunch): Mon-Thurs 8.30am to 6pm; Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm
Salary Rate: Diploma $9/hr; $10.50/hr if >3 years of experience 
Location: Near Tanjong Pagar MRT
Contract Period: 6 months 

Job Requirements

• Good knowledge in Procurement (Public Sector Procurement is preferred);
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
• Mature, independent, proactive and a team player;
• Able to manage tasks well within a tight timeline; and
• Knowledge of NFS@Gov and prior working experience in public sector agencies would be an added advantage
