Job Responsibilities:

RTO shall ensure that the relevant certificate and accreditation is valid throughout the appointment duration.
RTO shall supervise works related to architectural and structural matters.
RTO shall ensure that safe management measures are in place at all times.
RTO shall attend weekly meetings with Employer, Consultants, and Contractor(s).
RTO shall ensure necessary drawings and instructions are issued to contractors
RTO shall always be present on-site and ensure that site works to comply with safety requirements, plans and specifications.
RTO shall ensure materials and documents are in order.
RTO shall ensure relevant certificates for the materials are available.
RTO shall ensure documents of all activities during demolition and construction are recorded.
RTO shall ensure that the appropriate demolition method is carried out by the contractor.
RTO shall ensure requirements to specifications, materials, and workmanship comply with approved drawings and documents.
RTO shall identify errors in plans and ensure that resources provided by the contractor(s) are adequate.
RTO shall ensure sample testing is carried out in accordance with specifications.
RTO are required to resolve technical issues with the contractor(s), review and comment on the contractors’ submissions.
RTO shall highlight to Employer and consultants on potential claims and disputes and to record relevant facts.
RTO shall coordinate with the Quantity Surveyor on the amount of work done for the purpose of payment.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

The RTO shall have a Diploma or Equivalent and shall have about 5 year’s relevant experience to supervise construction projects as an RTO or Clerk-Of-Works.
The RTO shall also have a valid certificate from The Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES) or The Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) as well as certification on both works at height and confined space entry.
