Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing coldroom construction projects, sourcing for suppliers & co-ordinating with subcontractors, clients and other related parties. To handle customer enquiries in sales, technical information and aftersales/post-project requirements. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Technical Enquiries and Customer Services
•Attend to sales enquiries, pre-tender site visits and consultations, source for materials and prepare tender documents. 
•Provide aftersales service and respond to customers’ complaints
•Follow-up with customers on incoming enquiries to ascertain exact requirements and if requirements are conducive to customers’ objectives
•Prepare and present quotations and presentations to customers
•Obtain technical clarification and advice from Principals/suppliers as and when necessary
•Work closely with Operations Executive/Admin Assistant to ensure that post-project maintenance/servicing/repairs are carried out

Project Management
•Liaise with main and sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers etc for logistics, inventory, project schedule etc
•Handle all paperwork related to each project (e.g. cost reports, submission to authorities, licenses etc)
•Determine budget, project schedules, scope of work and deploy appropriate staff
•Perform procurement duties related to material acquisitions for each project
•Study, assess and create drawings, plans, specifications and other documents related to project
•Direct, lead and support other personnel, sub-contractors, suppliers etc in managing and executing multiple tasks and projects
•Review, assess and evaluate execution of projects on a regular basis
•Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues arising in a project
•Make site visits and ensure that works are completed according to schedule and to record information on the progress of the project
•Verification of material requisition and taking-off quantities/site measurement
•Attend to site tests and inspections, and ensure all quality standards & health & safety requirements are adhered to
•Develop project reports on a timely basis and update client and all stakeholders weekly on progress of project
Reports
•Prepare weekly customer reports and updates for submission to MD & clients

Others
•Assist Finance Department in billing/collection of payments
•Participate in technical exhibitions and tradeshows as and when held
•Fulfil any other duties as and when assigned by the management

Job Requirements

JOB HOLDER’S SPECIFICATIONS
•Minimum Degree in a construction or engineering discipline 
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in the execution and management of construction projects 
•Prior experience in sales coordination
•Proficient in MS Office applications, AutoCAD & MS Projects
•Outgoing and pleasant personality
•Self-motivated, resourceful, focused & able to work independently
•Is a proactive problem-solver
•Able to take the initiative in learning and problem solving
•Energetic, dynamic and customer oriented
•Possess good communication, presentation, marketing and negotiation skills
•Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
•Able to correspond in writing with customers, suppliers and internal staff
•Advantage to possess valid Class 3 driving license and vehicle, but not necessary
