Responsibilities: 1. Meet sales targets and to provide the highest level of customer service. 2. Responsible for sales and costs to ensure maximum results. 3. Actively participate in development of sales and marketing plans. 4. Actively participate in coming up with innovative ideas for increasing banqueting business. 5. Responsible for selling all banquet facilities and services. 6. Achieve maximum profitability and over-all success by controlling costs and quality of service 7. Participate in sales and marketing activities including sales calls and club events 8. Participate in building up client database and increasing client retention 9. Prepare proposals, confirmation and event orders as required 10. Conduct site inspections for existing and new clients 11. Generate weekly and monthly reports 12. Assist in preparation of forecast and actual budget function sheets 13. Co-ordinate with all relevant departments to ensure smooth delivery of events 14. Supervise and co-ordinate banquet set-up and service 15. Ensuring that services meet customer specifications 16. Quality of meeting room set-up should be abiding by the SOP 17. To work alongside the culinary and service team to ensure all arrangements are as per request 18. Provide quick service for last minute changes. 19. To handle customer dissatisfactions and follow-up on service recovery (where necessary) 20. Inspection of Function Rooms prior to guest arrival, ensuring that client specifications are met. 21. Any other duties as assigned by Management Staff Transport available at Khatib and Seng Kang.
