Roles and Responsibilities:
1.Patrol all Club buildings, car parks and the golf course (including clocking at designated locations) to detect signs of intrusion/arson and to prevent them.
2.Carry out patrol on buggy to ensure that vehicles are parked in the correct parking lots and to prevent in-discriminate parking.
3.Check/ensure the security of all doors, windows, and gates.
4.Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
5.Ensure that contractor’s employees have valid work permits when they sign in to work every day and that proper risk assessments had been submitted by their employers.
6.Warn persons of rule infractions or violations courteously.
7.Carry out surveillance of CCTV live feed to detect intrusion/arson.
8.Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed. When the switchboard is closed and you do not know the answer; get the caller’s name and contact number and inform the caller that someone will call back with the information when the office is open. Ensure that messages are logged and relay information to security supervisor for follow up actions.
•Minimum of a secondary education.
•Successfully completed the following WSQ modules:
- Guard and Patrol: Provide Guard and Patrol Services.
- Incident Response: Handle Security Incidents and Services.
- Threat Observation: Recognise Terrorist Threats.
•Possession of PLRD license.
•1 – 3 years’ relevant experience in the security field.
•Able to read and write simple English.
•Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
•Willing to work on rotating shifts.
