NE Digital is currently hiring for Senior UX Researcher to support the product and design research team at Fairprice. If you're an inquisitive researcher, comfortable in a high-velocity environment, and aren't afraid to take on the complex and long-established business of grocery and turn it into something thoughtful and magical, we want to hear from you! This person will report to the UX Research Lead and work closely with product designers and researchers. Additionally, this person will collaborate extensively with internal product & business teams working towards reaching customer centric solutions. What you will be doing Working in a fast paced environment, designing and implementing research that effectively answers key business questions Design and conduct generative and evaluative user research using qualitative (field observations, remote and in-person usability studies and interviews) and quantitative methods (surveys) Present learnings in an insightful and empathetic manner. Design output and learnings in formats that drive the most impact with stakeholders Triangulate qualitative research with inputs from Data Science, Surveys, Market Research and Secondary data Collaborate closely with other researchers, designers, product managers, data scientists, marketing and operations managers, and engineers to ensure research you deliver is integrated into every aspect of the product and provides a holistic view of our users Demonstrate problem solving skills and the ability to quickly develop recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative evidence Create methodologies that align to the needs of the organisation Be the consumer's voice and champion within the organisation and build customer centricity in all our product building initiatives Deliver quality work with light managerial supervision; Requirements: BA/BS in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Ability to go beyond what users say, to understanding what they really mean. To connect with users emphatically Ability to frame key questions, create research plans to address those, conduct research, moderate and synthesize the findings into meaningful, actionable insights
BA/BS in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 5+ years of experience in a product development research environment Ability to go beyond what users say, to understanding what they really mean. To connect with users emphatically Ability to frame key questions, create research plans to address those, conduct research, moderate and synthesize the findings into meaningful, actionable insights Organized, detail oriented and able to work independently on multiple projects at once Strong oral and written communication skills. Independent & a self starter, taking initiative keeping relevant partners in the loop Good to have dtrong quantitative research and design skills Experience with remote usability
