-Coordinates and supervises the activities of employees in the custodial program. -Train and instruct employees in task, safety, policies and procedures. -Ensures custodial services meet the needs of the site -Ensure custodial personnel have the equipment and supplies necessary to perform their job Issues supplies to custodians as needed. -Operates motorized cleaning equipment. -Tracks equipment inventory, maintenance and repair. -Schedules clean up and repairs as needed. -Maintains daily upkeep of assigned area. -Tracks and maintains supplies inventory. -Ensures specified contract services are provided by the contractor by inspecting the work performed -Conducts regular quality, service and safety inspections of assigned areas and reporting the results of the inspections with particular emphasis to the assigned custodian -Reports incidents and hazardous conditions to site manager. -Reports employee personnel and customer issues to site manager. -Monitors employees for proper use of personal protective equipment and supplies. -Corrects at risk behaviour, then reports to the site manager immediately. -Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organisation’s policies and applicable laws. -Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement. -Insures each team members work in conformance with CLEANING CONCEPT PTE LTD policies and procedures. -Comply with safety rules, policies and procedures. Stops at risk behaviour of others and self. -Perform work assignments in a team with other employees. -Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies and rules. -Take direction and respond to site manager. -Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers and customers in a professional manner. -Fill in during staff shortage. -Support shift lead in completing punch-list items. -Addresses complaints and resolves problems -Ensure operational excellence through training, coaching, discipline and encouragement of team members. -Use proper personal protective equipment. -Present a professional appearance and conduct. -Reviews and maintain employee’s records such as attendance and metric data. -Understand customer service and satisfaction. -Understand reporting systems and of the environment
-Cleaning supervisory experience -Able to operate cleaning machineries and equipment -Knowledge of cleaning procedures, methods and manuals -Good verbal and written communication skills. -Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment -Knowledge of the upkeep and care of cleaning equipment. -Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe efficient use. -To take initiative and be hands-on, able to lead, motivate and manage crew members.
