•Identify and analyse needs of stakeholders i.e. Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and their students, Migrant Worker / Migrant Domestic Worker (MW / MDW) communities, community organisations and their partners, and government agencies
•Build and deepen relationships and partner stakeholders in the execution of youth engagement plans, including but not limited to school and assembly talks, learning journeys and tours, field research, dialogue sessions with domain leaders, and training of youth volunteers.
•Formulate plans and drive programmes to provide youths with opportunities to gain insights into the MW / MDW landscape in Singapore with the view to developing a community of youth volunteers serving MW / MDWs in Singapore.
•Manage publicity for youth engagement activities using the various channels, for the purposes of recruitment of partcipants and promotion of programmes, and post-event publicity.
•Provide regular updates on youth engagement to senior management in written and verbal form through report, presentations, and discussions.
•Perform logistics and administration for events, including sourcing and procurement of supplies and services, setting up of venues, managing registration and attendance of participants, facilitating or hosting events, soliciting and responding to feedback, and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
•5 Days (Mon to Thur: 8.30am to 6.00pm; Fri: 8.30am to 5.30pm)
•S$1,800 per hour
•Tertiary education and / or other training relevant to youth engagement, event management or programme development is preferred.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint) as well as communication apps (e.g. Zoom, MS Teams, WhatsApp) and online engagement tools (e.g. Mentimeter, WordCloud, Padlet). Willing to undergo training to use other relevant software, where necessary.
•Prior experience in working with youths will be a plus.
