Position : Temp Staff
Contract period : 1 year (start date early to mid-July 2021)
Scope of Work
The Contractor shall provide one (1) contract staff to perform the tasks below during the working hours of the following days (excluding public holidays):
a.0830hrs to 1800hrs from Monday to Thursday;
b.0830hrs to 1730hrs on Friday.
The contract staff shall perform the following tasks:
a.Process Closed-for-Filing (CFF) Investigation Papers (IPs), which may include the following:
i.Deal with exhibits, which include returning exhibits to the rightful owners and facilitating the disposal of exhibits according to the Court Order;
ii.Arrange for accused persons to be administered warning;
iii.Put up service replies to be sent to case persons upon case conclusion; and
iv.Filing and labelling of documents within the IP folder, physically and electronically.
b.Support Investigation Officers (IOs) in trial preparation and during Court trials, which may include the duplication of prosecution bundles, scheduling of interviews with Deputy Public Prosecutors (DPPs), taking notes during interviews of witnesses by DPPs and during Court trials and facilitation of witness allowance claims;
c.Support IOs in administrative processes for Video Recording of Interview;
d.Support the investigation branch in routine administrative tasks.
Min Qualification: We do not dictate the minimum qualification, the requirements (e.g. having investigation background) would be sufficiently stringent.
a.Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident;
b.Former Police Officer from the Singapore Police Force, with experience in conducting criminal investigation during his service with the Singapore Police Force; Offered salary: We are unable to disclose this now, but we are looking at someone who is minimally of a Senior Staff Sergeant rank.
c.Has basic police knowledge and familiarity with Police and investigation processes;
d.Observes confidentiality at all times for all documents and information received and handled during the course of work;
e.Must not be a subject of an ongoing criminal investigation at the time of application for the job;
f.Not terminated from service from the Singapore Police Force or any civil service;
g.Able to converse in English and a Mother Tongue language; and
h.Possesses basic computer literacy skills, including basic Microsoft Office applications.
